Fund Raising

Belinda Ronalds who ran the London Marathon for us. We hope other volunteers, perhaps including the Young Anglo-Peruvian Society members, may follow her example. All volunteers welcome !

We have found many ways to raise funds but any ideas are very welcome.

In the recent past, we have been adopted by Tilehurst Methodist Church, Soroptimists International and the school of St Helen and St Katherine in Abingdon have selected the BCT as their international charity of 2006/7.

We have the help of the Headcase hairdressing salon in Tilehurst and hope that the hairdressers of Berkshire will help us to train young people in Lima to become hairdressers.

We run a 200 Club with monthly prizes and membership costing only £13 per year. Please call any of the contact numbers for details.

Peru 2 U have generously given us unsold stocks of their high-class Peruvian artefacts, which we are selling at garden-parties, coffee-mornings, fayres and fetes - and wherever we can !

Other fundraising has come from Carol singing at Reading's Madejski Stadium, running the London Marathon, giving lunches, and a Spanish Mass at Bucklebury Church.

We have recycled ink cartridges.

Another good way of helping us is to make Gift Aided donations either by Standing Orders or direct debit. Find out how you can help by looking at our How to Help page
